Nolan Burkett is a young doctor just beginning his career as a medical practitioner. Fresh-faced and idealistic, he is not prepared for the challenges ahead. He quickly becomes embroiled in temptation, succumbing to its draw while rationalizing his choices. He eventually finds love and marriage but later falls prey to his baser instincts.
