The Vikings were explorers and Raiders, Mercenaries and Robbers. Piracy was not a strange trade to many. The men of te Black Wolf a Knoerr, a trading vessel vessel was sailed into the cold of the arctic. It crew consisted of warriors tired of earning their silver and gold by the blades of their sword. The year of their demise is a thousand years ago. Their souls are exiled with ice and snow waiting for a young Viking to set them free. Michael Lee Keenan is the direct descendant of one of these men. It falls to him to learn of their ways of lfe and the way they died. These spirits take him into the past, make him witness to raids without mercy. Mickey Lee watches the Raiders destroy the pirates in Cyprus and wage war for the emperor of Byzantium. These ghost become his friends and protectors against a father with control issues and a catholic religion that does notaccept the supernatural events that keep him from enforcing his will on his son. Gordon the only Inuit in their camp, knows what Michael is experiencing, he a Shaman of old. He is one of the Inuit that has been torn from his old way of life, but with Michael he feels he is part of the spirit world again. Kiviuk, his name denotes the spirit of the the white bear is the buffer Michael needs between his father. His friends the spirits of a Nanuq and a large Amarugm the wolf spirit of his life protect Michael, they would hurt his father if e were to be aggressive to Michael. His girlfriend Alaya is patiently waiting for his return from the arctic. She is his champion. It all started when his mother was killed in a horrific car crash, Michael survived barely but with the help of one of the Viking spirit, his Ancestor, Ruderic the raider.
